Standard Time will return on November 1ST  (Fall back one hour at 2 AM).  So many organizing challenges are ahead in the next few months.  Start by making a list of what you would like to accomplish this fall.  Outdoors in the yard and garden, the garage, basement and attic.  Party planning and holiday chores.  Let's think about Halloween today.  Will you be hosting a party for the neighbors or the local children?  Will there be parties at the school or daycare?  Will you be decorating outdoors? Do you have plenty of light sticks, flashlights and batteries, reflective tape?  My plan this week is to go the attic and find and sort the Halloween Decorations. While I am up there, time permitting, I will begin to look at my other outdoor decorations for the winter.  Now is a great time to start putting the outdoor lighting in place.  I would much rather have the neighbors think I am jumping the gun, than freezing to death hanging  lights after Thanksgiving. Remember to test everything you will be putting outside before you put it up so you don't have to take them down to replace them. If you will be buying new decorations, look for products that are energy efficient and lower your energy bills.
